IGNITE Institute Signs Strategic Partnership with National Cybersecurity Association (NCA)

On the morning of November 20, 2025, in Hanoi, the IGNITE Institute and the National Cybersecurity Association (NCA) officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The event marks a significant milestone in establishing standards, evaluation metrics, and developing high-quality human resources for the cybersecurity sector in Vietnam.

At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Chinh – representing the National Cybersecurity Association – emphasized the importance of coordination between the two entities. According to the Lieutenant General, this cooperation will make practical contributions to building the national cybersecurity architecture framework and developing a set of indicators for assessing information security. This also serves as a foundation to mobilize the collective strength of experts from both sides to firmly protect sovereignty in cyberspace.

Representing the IGNITE Institute, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ai Viet highlighted the urgency of enhancing technological autonomy, especially in the context of increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks, the rise of generative technology, and the challenge of fake news.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ai Viet affirmed: “The IGNITE Institute is committed to accompanying the NCA with our full research capacity, expert team, and in-depth scientific programs revolving around three pillars: Cybersecurity – Data – Artificial Intelligence (AI).”

The cooperation agreement between the NCA and the IGNITE Institute is expected to become a solid foundation for enhancing Vietnam's cyberspace protection capabilities, while promoting innovation and directly contributing to the national digital transformation process.
