Formerly a professor in Hungary and the United States, and a Chief Software Engineer for AT&T and Siemens, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ai Viet left behind a high salary to return to Vietnam, committing himself to the development of science and technology in his homeland.
\n\nThe Director of the IGNITE Institute served as the representative of the Vietnamese Government in negotiating software copyrights with Microsoft \u2013 a historic deal. He is also the author of the \u201cBa Dinh Plan\u201d for science and technology development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
