GENERAL INTRODUCTION

Prof. Van-Tam Nguyen is a highly respected Vietnamese-French expert in artificial intelligence and electronics-telecommunications engineering in France, having earned his Engineering degree from CentraleSupélec, his Master's degree from Paris-Saclay University, and his Ph.D. from Télécom Paris, one of the founding member schools of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris.

With nearly 20 years of teaching and research at Télécom Paris, he is particularly recognized for his pioneering contributions in Adaptive AI, Continual Learning, and AI applications for cybersecurity, along with international research experience at NICT (Japan), UC Berkeley, and Stanford (USA).

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS

- Senior Marie Curie Fellowship from the European Commission (2015), one of Europe's most prestigious research awards for outstanding scientists.
- Author and co-author of over 100 scientific publications, 5 patents, and 1 technology transfer project in the fields of AI and integrated circuits.
- Extensive international research experience, having served as a Rank A Guest Researcher at NICT (Japan, 2012–2013) and a visiting researcher at UC Berkeley (2013–2016) and Stanford (2016–2017).
- Academic leadership at Télécom Paris, having served as Head of the Computer Science and Networks Department (INFRES) and the Communications and Electronics Department (COMELEC), and currently serving as Chair Holder of "Intelligent Cybersecurity for Mobility Systems" (ICMS) and Deputy Director of the LTCI Laboratory.
- Technology entrepreneurship experience, having served as Director of Intek Institute (2018) and CEO of TAM-AI Co. Ltd (2019–2021).
