IGNITE Institute Director Attends Meta’s Global Innovation and Policy Conference 2025

At the invitation of Meta, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ai Viet – Director of the IGNITE Institute – attended the Global Innovation and Policy Conference 2025, hosted by Meta at its headquarters in Silicon Valley, USA.

The event convened nearly 100 international delegates , comprising leading leaders, experts, and researchers in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and global technology policy. Vietnam was honored to be represented by two delegates, including the representative from the IGNITE Institute.

The focal theme of this year's conference was “Agent AI and Data Governance” – a core issue in shaping the future of artificial intelligence and international data policy frameworks. At the conference, delegates discussed principles for safe, sustainable, and responsible AI development, aiming to maximize technological potential while safeguarding human values and user privacy.

The participation of the IGNITE Institute Director marks a significant stride in the process of international integration in AI research and policy. It contributes to expanding academic cooperation, updating global knowledge, and shaping the direction of AI technology development in Vietnam.
